The film is shot with 16 mm Kodak black and white film and expired Kodak 500T Color negative film. The material was developed in a bucket to create its unique look.

The sound design incorporates actual FT8 and SSTV radiosignals. Both can be deciphered while watching the short film, containing messages from "the other side". The films life will continue in the sound.
